Masumba Sub Location is located in Ithumba Location, Nguu division, Nzaui sub county, in Makueni County, and is neighboring Kakili, Mii, Mithumoni, Kikumini, Ndunguni, Mweini, Vololo, Yikivumbu, Kanyililya, Masamukye, Nthungui, Makasa, Thithi, Wolwa sub locations. It has a total popupation of 1,779, of which 885 (50%) are male and 894 (50%) are female. The sub location has 455 households which averages 3.9 persons per household. Its land area is 21.30 square km and a population density of 84 persons per square kilometer.
